This is a national recreation website. You can reserve a lot of camping site from here. The National Recreation Reservation Service (NRRS) is changing and expanding! This is GREAT NEWS! The NRRS™ , your one-stop reservation service for the USDA Forest Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management and Bureau of Reclamation outdoor recreation facilities and activities, is expanding as the National Park Service is integrating more parks into the NRRS. The addition of these National Parks and their reservable facilities and activities to the NRRS will occur on Wednesday, February 7, 2007.

The site give you a layout of the campground, where the facilities are as well as what available by date. So you can see the site that you are selecting.

Alaska State Parks Public Use Cabins      

Alaska State parks offers 56 cabins for rent by the public. These cabins are in 18 state park units, as far north as Fairbanks, in Interior Alaska, and as far south as Ketchikan, in Southeast Alaska. State park cabins sleep from three to eight persons and are equipped with wooden sleeping platforms, a wood stove for heating only, a table, chairs or benches, and a nearby latrine. Designs vary.

You can reserve the cabins online. Find the cabin of your choice then check the available cabin date. Payment must be made in full when you make the reservation. Payment can be made by either VISA or MasterCard.
